Aspers at The Gate, is betting on a grand event when it holds its first ever baccarat tournament.  It’s also the first competition of its kind outside London.The knock out tournament starts on Sunday 22 July and comes to a close on Tuesday 24 July.

The three day battle of the cards begins with a celebratory Champagne and canapé reception for the participants.

Paul Sculpher, Aspers general manager said: “We are delighted to host such a prestigious event. All the card room staff are very proud to offer a tournament that, until now, has only been available in the capital. 

“Aspers at The Gate is part of Aspers Group, a joint venture between the Aspinall family and Publishing and Broadcasting Ltd (PBL).  Aspinalls club, in London, held the first international Baccarat competition in May this year. “
