We’ve teamed up with the county’s newest restaurant to offer a reader the chance to win a fabulous meal for six colleagues, clients or friends.
Clary’s, which is based at the Aspers casino and entertainment venue in Commercial Street, Northampton, opens its doors for the first time this week on Thursday June 26.
With a great range of modern and traditional British dishes on the menu, Clary’s is set to become the hottest place in town for lunches and evening meals. And with breakfasts and steaks being cooked through to 2.30am, it is also likely to be popular with late night revelers.
Head chef is David Hallsworth, whose background includes working with Marco White in London. Most recently David was landlord of the Duke of Wellington at Stanwick, renowned for its good food.
“We’re going to be offering a great range of freshly cooked dishes from 12 noon seven days a week, “ said David, “The restaurant has a very modern feel with aubergine and black décor, and it’s also bright and airy. It will be a fabulous place to visit. Food will also be served in the stunning ground floor bar area.”
Aspers will also feature a bar, live entertainment and traditional table games, slot machines and poker.
Evening diners will be able to enjoy some fantastic tribute acts this weekend including an Elton John showcase on 26 June, a world-renowned Elvis impersonator the following night and a Robbie Williams tribute on June 28.
