Matthew Rushton

Head of Compliance & MLRO

Matthew began his career at Coral in 2010, before advancing to key roles in Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance at Coral and Sky Betting & Gaming.

He oversaw regulatory compliance for UK licenses at both Gamesys and Betway before taking on the role of Head of Compliance & MLRO at BetConnect. In 2023, he led financial crime oversight at Allwyn UK during their transition to National Lottery stewardship, and as MLRO he designed and implemented a comprehensive financial crime framework, mitigating risks across a network of 46,000 retailers.

Matthew joined Aspers in October 2024 and oversees Regulatory Compliance & Assurance, Licensing, AML, Safer Gambling, and Compliance Operations as well as being MLRO.
